The Origin of the Theme Songs

In order to respond to the needs of the colleagues, Professor Daniel T.L. Shek composed theme songs specifically for Project P.A.T.H.S.

The three theme songs were composed based on the tunes of “Auld Lang Syne” and “Hymn To Joy.” The lyrics are based on the project aims and the 15 Positive Youth Development constructs. It is hoped that P.A.T.H. colleagues will share the lyrics with their students in classrooms. We hope the lyrics will help students learn the meaning of those constructs in a fun and interesting way.
